Biography

J.K. Heinrich Hoerber is a Professor of Nanobiophysics, School of Physics University of Bristol, UK. He is Editor of the Journal “Molecular recognition”, published by Wiley. He is an Honorary Professor of University College London (UCL) 2003 - 2008.

Research Interest

Current research interest: Interactions between light and nanostructures i) surface enhanced Raman spectroscopy on nanostructures ii) sensor development for biomedical applications iii) use of optical properties to produce large quantities of mono disperse nanostructures for industrial applications 2. Electron transport in non-conducting materials i) data storage ii) photo voltaic iii) chemical catalysis 3. Mechanical properties of proteins connecting structure and function
