Chaohong Lee got his PhD degree from Wuhan Institute of Physics and Mathematics, Chinese Academy of Sciences in 2003. From 2003 to 2009, he worked as a guest scientist in Max Planck Institute for the Physics of Complex Systems and then a Research Fellow in Australian National University. Since December 2009, he works as a full professor in Sun Yat-Sen University. He has published more than 50 papers in high-impact international academic journals, including one in Rev. Mod. Phys., seven in Phys. Rev. Lett. and 23 in Phys. Rev. A/B/E.
many-body quantum physics (macroscopic quantum phenomena, quantum correlations and quantum phase transitions etc), quantum dynamics (nonlinear matter-waves, Kibble-Zurek mechanism and quantum walks etc) and quantum technology theory (quantum metrology and quantum simulation etc).
